2017-10 Permit Report

Permits are required in Westtown Township for most residential and all commercial additions and alterations, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, decks, pools, sheds, and fences.

At their April 4, 2016 regular meeting, the Township Board of Supervisors adopted the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), 2009 Edition, as amended, to serve as the property maintenance code for the Township. The 2009 edition is the most recent version of the IPMC as recognized by the Commonwealth.  All work must be in conformance with the 2009 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE, and all Westtown Township Ordinances.

Links to Ordinance 2016-03 adopting the 2009 IPMC as well as to the full ordinance from the International Code Council (ICC) are provided below:

All Residential and Commercial Building Permit Applications and Occupancy Permits will be reviewed and inspected by the Township or its third party inspection agency, Code Inspections, Inc. NOTE: Permit fees are paid when permit is issued, not at time of application.

Permit applications can be found on the Permits and Applications page.
