Ever wondered about the history of the West Chester Railroad that passes through Westtown? On Saturday, June 3rd, at 10am, the West Chester Railroad will run its annual “History Train” special. The on-board historian commentator will be Dave Walter, one of the Westtown Township Historical Commissioners. You’ll learn about the history of the railroad, the communities it passes through, and the personages who rode the trains. Your two-hour trip takes you through the beautiful spring countryside of the Chester Creek Valley, from West Chester to Glen Mills and return.
