 ONLINE PAYMENT OF SEWER & TRASH BILLS

Westtown Township now accepts online credit card payments for Township sewer and trash bills.  Click on “Pay Bills Online” on the Index on the left side of page.


 WEGO POLICE WARNINGS

The Police have seen an increase in theft by in home service providers (cleaning, home health care, home improvement), and urge residents to check references, secure valuables, and do not leave contractors unattended in your home. 


 PRESCRIPTION DRUG DROP BOX

There is a Medication Return Collection Box in the lobby of the Westtown East Goshen Police Station, 1041 Wilmington Pike. Residents can safely dispose of unwanted or expired prescription medication M-F from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

FAIR SHARE CONDITIONAL USE HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Westtown Township, Chester County will conduct a public hearing on Monday, March 2, 2015 commencing at 6:00 PM, at the Westtown Township Administrative Building, 1039 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, Pennsylvania, to receive evidence, consider and possibly act upon the Conditional Use Application of Fair Share Properties, L.P. concerning the approximate 3.295 acre parcel located at the northwest corner of Wilmington Pike (Route 202) and West Pleasant Grove Road, also known as 401 West Pleasant Grove Road (UPI No. 67-4-23), West Chester, Pennsylvania in the R-3 Residence Office District of Westtown Township.  The Applicant seeks to amend the conditional use Decision and Order of the Board of Supervisors, dated August 6, 2007, to permit a day care center, pursuant to §170-801.B(6) of the Zoning Ordinance, in place of an already approved bank pad on the northern end of the property, and to continue the prior approved office use on the southern end of the property.

An opportunity will be given to any citizen and to all parties in interest to be heard with respect to this application.

The application and plan may be reviewed at the aforesaid office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  Contact the Township office at 610-692-1930 if any special services or facilities for the handicapped are required. 


 HEALTH & FITNESS CLASSES

Parks & Rec is offering Pilates and Yoga classes for adults at Oakbourne Mansion. Registration for the Spring session will begin in March.  


2015 YARD WASTE PICK UPS 

Yard Waste will be collected on the Saturdays listed below. Yard waste must be placed curbside by 7 AM in either biodegradable bags or open containers that can be dumped.  Branches under 3″ in diameter should be cut in 3-4′ in length, bundled, and tied.  PLASTIC BAGS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED.
