 WEBSITE CITIZENS COMMITTEE

The Website Citizens Committee (WCC) is an advisory body, comprised of citizens residing in Westtown Township, tasked to assist the Board of Supervisors with the redesign of www.westtownpa.org to be resident focused and interactive. The committee will collaborate with team members to create a Request For Proposal (RFP), review proposals, and prepare and present the committee’s findings and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.

SEWER CITIZENS COMMITTEE

The Sewer Oversight Citizens Committee (SOCC) is an advisory body, comprised of citizens residing in Westtown Township, tasked to assist the Board of Supervisors with the review of data collection for the Township’s On-Lot Management program and other sewer evaluations as tasked by the Board of Supervisors.

Parties interested in joining either committee should send their Letter of Interest and resume, to be received on or before April 16, 2014 to:

Westtown Township now accepts online credit card payments for Township sewer and trash bills.  Click on “Pay Bills Online” on the Index on the left side of page.

The Police have seen an increase in theft by in home service providers (cleaning, home health care, home improvement), and urge residents to check references, secure valuables, and do not leave contractors unattended in your home.

RECYCLE TV’s & COMPUTER

BOZUTTO (CREBILLY) CONDITIONAL USE HEARING APRIL 24, 2014

The continuation of the Bozutto Conditional Use hearing will be held at 7:00 pm at the Westtown Township Municipal Building, 1039 Wilmington Pike. The Board of Supervisors will receive evidence, consider and possibly act upon the conditional use application of the Bozzuto Development Company, ISAOA; Crebilly Farm Family Associates, L.P.


 ANYTHING WITH A PLUG EVENT APRIL 12

April 12 from 9am to 1pm at the Willistown Township Building, 688 Sugartown Road.  This event is free, however a fee of $20 will apply to accept tube TV’s and computer monitors. No smoke detectors, large appliances, or projection TV’s will be accepted. 


 GOOSE CREEK CLEANUP APRIL 12

The 9th annual Goose Creek Cleanup is Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.  Meet at the Goose Creek Park Pavilion before 9:00.  Gloves, bags, and refreshments will be provided.  Wear boots, old shoes, or waders.  For more information contact CRC at 610.359.1440 or visit www.crcwatersheds.org.


 DRUG TAKE BACK EVENT APRIL 26

On Saturday, April 26 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Dilworthtown Giant, 1393 Dilworthtown Road, residents can safely dispose of unwanted or expired prescription medication.

Registration is now closed for the annual spring yard sale from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, April 26 at Oakbourne Park.

 2014 YARD WASTE PICK UPS 

Yard Waste will be collected on the Saturdays listed below.   Yard waste must be placed curbside by 7 AM in either biodegradable bags or open containers that can be dumped.  Branches should be cut in three foot lengths, bundled, and tied.  PLASTIC BAGS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED.

POLICE COMMISSION

2013 Commission meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, at 5:30pm, in the Police Administration Building located at 1041 Wilmington Pike, in West Chester (behind the Township Building.)


BAMBOO ORDINANCE
