LABOR DAY
TRASH/RECYCLING
For Township
residents with Monday Trash and Recycling, your pick up will be on
Saturday, September 4th. They will be around early so it is
recommended to put it out the night before.

YARD WASTE PICKUP
Until further notice you may discard your yard waste in your regular
trash. Please make sure that it is prepared correctly. Either in
bio-degradable paper bags or a container that can be dumped. Branches
must be cut in three foot lengths and tied.
When burning yard waste (no leaves!) please notify the local fire companies and the 9-1-1 center that there is to be a controlled burn. Please do
not call 9-1-1 to report a controlled burn. Use this

WESTTOWN TOWNSHIP NOW ACCEPTS
CREDIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT OF SEWER AND TRASH BILLS
Effective December 1,
2009, Westtown Township will accept Master Card and Discover for payment
of sewer and trash bills. The card user pays a 2.4% Convenience Fee
(minimum $1.50) for each bill paid. Call the Township Office, 610

RECYCLE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT
Staples, the office
supply store, will collect used electronics. All brands of computers, monitors, laptops, printers,
and faxes will be accepted for a fee of $10 per large item. TV's are not accepted.
The program is a collaboration of the US Environmental Protection
Administration (EPA), the Product Stewardship Institute, and Staples. More on the EPA
